Was Prime Minister John Major responsible for Princess Diana's death?
I heard a story today that former Conservative Prime Minister John Major was angry with Princess Diana over her social progressiveness (i.e. interacting with people with AIDs, supporting environmentalism, etc.) so he privately offered money to the driver's father (Fayed) in exchange for the driver crashing the car thus killing Diana. Is this true?

- That's retarded thinking. Conspiracy theories like that should never be taken seriously.
- I sincerely doubt that this is true.
- No it is not true. Dodi Fayed's father is a publicity hound and just can't accept the fact that his son died a senseless death. There is zero evidence to support any kind of conspiracy to kill Princess Diana or Dodi Fayed
- A speculation will never cease as to what was the real truth regarding Princess Diana's death and who's responsible to it. Conspiracy or accidental death? Perhaps. The truth of the matter lies only those who were involved in the accident, the witnesses, survivor/s and the victims. With regards to Princess Diana's social progressiveness, I don't believe it has something to do with it for it's quite a lame excuse to begin with.
- First of all, it was paparazzi that were partially responsible for the death of Princess Diana and her friend Dodi Fayed. Their driver had been drinking, the press was chasing them into a tunnel, the driver lost control and the car crashed. That's it. No conspiracy, just a terrible tragedy.
- Utter rubbish. Diana's death was due to bad driving by a driver who had "supposedly" too much too drink who had challeneged the paparazzi that he could out run them. The inquest that has just finished would not have arisen had Dodi's father been given British citizenship/passport that he craved. It was his way of "getting back" to the establishment - unfortunately it has caused tremendous heartache for the two Princes and many others and cost millions of pounds. Perhaps if Dodi's father had donated the amount he eventually spent to any charitable institution in memory of his son, it would have been better spent. Now let Diana rest in peace.
