Can the Queen of England be called to testify before the Inquest into the Death of Diana Princess of Wales?

- Corse not old Bean....... Shes the Queen. What what.
- I dont know but I doubt it. After all, England does have their code of ethics.
- The judge would disallow it unless the caller could put forward some credible reason why she would have any information that related to the purpose of the inquest. Not proof of it, just a credible reason. But wild accusations and conspiracy allegations would simply not cut it, and that would apply equally whether they were against the Queen, or against some other woman that the court had never heard of before.
- her Britannic majesty, Queen of the Commonwealth, cannot be asked to do anything! One may request. But never ever order. And quite rightly so!
- She cannot be subpoenaed but she can be politely asked to attend, she can agree to or not.
- No, as head of state her Majesty can not be called to testify in a case
