- You could say that you (Diana) died because you made a HUGE mistake. You got into a car being driven by someone who had been both drinking and taking drugs. Once you got into the car, you didn't put your seatbelt on because you were sitting in the back seat and felt you didn't need to. Then you made another HUGE mistake by telling the driver that you wanted to outrun the press who was trying to take a picture of you. And so you were in a car that was going through a crowded city at speeds that one generally only sees fleeing bank robbers use. You died because that driver was too "impaired" to control a car properly....much less one that was going so fast. Then, because you didn't have on your seatbelt, you were so thrown around in the back seat that you died from internal injuries from it. You could make the point that you were beautiful and had a long and wonderful life ahead of you, but that it was ended way to soon just because you made those three mistakes that one dreadful night and paid for your mistakes with your life. You could also say that you were finally at a point in your life that you had left your disastrous marriage behind. You could say that you had conquered your eating disorders, and finally gained some wisdom and strength from all the counselling sessions you had the sense to attend. You could say that when you were finally at the point of being able to make some real accomplishments, you never got to make them because of the mistakes you made that one terrible night.
- First of all she was The Princess of Wales not Princess Diana. Secondly you are suppose to do the biography. Research the material yourself. You will learn more this way.
- She died because everyone dies. Because she was riding in a car that was moving far to fast for the conditions, and it slammed into a concrete post that supports a bridge. Not likely the car is gonna win that one. The reason the car was moving reckelessly was because the driver was far too drunk to be driving. She died because she wasn't wearing a seat belt during that accident. Anything else is speculation. Here's a hint for you, though...try writing properly. Your teacher will give you much better grades if you don't write like you never learned how to speak English properly. "d problem", "d biography", "supposed 2 say" ....What is THAT? It's certainly NOT English!
- You need to think about the dramatic effect of your presentation as well as the facts and proper grammar, spelling, and usage. A couple of ideas: 1. You could end your presentation with a soliloquy (solo speech) about your life just before the fatal accident, about how well things are going for you, you have friends, you are looking forward to seeing your sons the next day. Just have a really good, upbeat final line for your speech. This would knock 'em dead, trust me. Then you can get out of character and as yourself, Katy, briefly recount the events of Diana's death. 2. Or, you could be the spirit of Diana looking back on your life from the perspective of afterlife and tell the story from that point of view. Just don't get into any kind of spiritual or religious mode, because that won't go in public school. But if you're in a private religious school, go for it. Dress in a way that the Princess would've dressed. Look at some photos. Even in casual clothes, she always looked elegant. Don't wear a blond wig or anything, though, and, if you're American like me, please don't try to imitate her accent. If you like my idea, please promise me you'll stop using "d" as an article instead of "the." Hope it goes well.
- Diana died in an accident caused by an impaired driver.Henri Paul was under the influence of prescription medications and alcohol. He was asked,at the last minute,to drive Diana and Dodi to their next destination.Paul, the head of security at the Ritz Hotel and not a chauffeur, was speeding to escape the paparazzi when he lost control of the Mercedes on a particularly treacherous stretch of road leading into the Pont D'Alma Tunnel. The car crashed into a concrete pillar.Diana, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, suffered a tear to the aorta and bled to death--lack of blood led to multiple organ failures.Even fairy-tale princesses die in accidents caused by impaired drivers. Diana died, expecting to see her sons the next day.She wasn't as bothered by the paparazzi as Dodi was;he was the one who goaded Paul to drive faster. So,when you are acting, just think of those things--Diana was looking forward to the future and not dying...she would have been telling Dodi not to worry about the paparazzi and she would have been making plans for her trip home. - Well you could remain in the first person, through the drinking and partying, then getting into the car, not wearing seat-belts, and enjoying the chase by the photographers. If not encouraging the high speed chase, at least not stopping it; perhaps her last thought, as the Mercedes lost control, was swerving around and she saw the front of the car as it was headed into the concrete support. I understand that she was wasn't killed immediately and had some sort of metal from the car frame driven through her chest...so that might be the time to Fade out. You can switch from first person, to third person as well usually when you are writing.
