What was the surgery that Princess Diana had on her heart before she died?

I am trying to find out what the surgery was that Princess Diana had on her heart after the car wreck. The surgery that she had has been done only 200 times and a lady I know had the surgery and is the only one that has survived that surgery. She had a severed aorta. Anything you can find is appreciated. Thanks!

1. They should have done the surgery similar to open heart surgery. They should have gone in through the sternum. She should have been put on the heart/lung bypass machine. But, from what I have read, they went in between her ribs doing a thoracotomy and DID Not put her on bypass. Bypass may have prevented brain death from lack of blood flow and oxygen to the brain. http://www.essortment.com/all/deathprincessd_rmoz.htm They were really stupid. They didn't get her to a hospital for 1hr 45 min. The 1st hour is the most important.
